St John Ambulance Everyday Heroes Awards 2018

Hilton London Bankside

Everyday, St John Ambulance is continuing to support your communities to save lives, both by giving and teaching first aid.

The Everyday Heroes Awards champions those who have been able to step in and really make a difference to people’s lives through the charity’s efforts. Whilst we come together to celebrate these individuals’ actions, we know there are still too many similar situations happening where a first responder or first aid support is missing, and the outcomes are not so positive. That’s why we need the public’s support to do more and reach more communities.

Vicar, broadcaster, and formeRev Richard Colesr pop star Richard Coles hosted the 2018 Everyday Heroes Awards.

The Rev Coles has been dubbed the most famous vicar in Britain. He is a former member of eighties hit band, The Communards, a BBC radio presenter, and regular guest on TV shows including Strictly Come Dancing, Celebrity MasterChef, and Have I Got News for You.

"Richard shares common values with St John Ambulance, where community forms the bedrock of our work."

- Martin Houghton-Brown, Chief Executive of St John Ambulance.

The St John Ambulance Everyday Heroes Awards took place on 24 September 2018 at Hilton London Bankside.

Details of the 2019 awards will be announced next year - follow St John Ambulance on Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates.
