St John Ambulance’s Everyday Heroes benefits from the tremendous support of our media partners, our generous sponsors, expert judges and celebrity guests.

Katie PiperThis year, the awards will be hosted by Katie Piper. The TV presenter and best-selling author, who has just announced that she is pregnant with her second child, is an advocate for first aid as she believes in the importance of having lifesaving skills as a parent, as well as from her own experience as an acid attack survivor.

Katie said:

'I feel honoured to be hosting the St John Ambulance Everyday Heroes awards this year, I know from personal experience how important it can be to know what to do in a first aid emergency and act quickly.

'First aid’s a simple skill, but it has an incredible impact and St John Ambulance has lots of free resources on their website to help you learn these life saving skills so please make the time to look or do a training course, it could save someone’s life.

'I’m looking forward to meeting all of the inspiring finalists and hearing their stories. It’s going be an incredible evening.'

Our media partners, the Mail on Sunday, Yours Magazine and HSW Magazine, are continuing to support the awards for 2017.
