St John Ambulance is the nation’s leading first aid charity.

Every year, 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes, including hundreds of thousands of young people.

Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities, keeping people safe at events, and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls.

About the role:

St John Ambulance Workplace Training and Supplies is a large part of our organisation whose purpose is to generate revenue for our charitable activities through commercial operations. Fundraising is another key source of income for our charity. A significant part of the support for these activities is through direct marketing campaigns.

As a Marketing Data Officer, reporting to Marketing Data Manager, you will be part of a small Marketing Data Team that helps make these campaigns happen. We are specifically looking for someone to take the lead on individual giving appeals and supporter journey communications. You will be responsible for fulfilling data briefs from the Fundraising team, creating Raisers Edge queries, managing any related imports and exports, and keeping a track of communications history.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working with Raisers Edge, who enjoys data analysis, and is interested in helping us grow income through constantly improving our use of data.
