Patient Transport Attendant ( Permanent-Full Time )
£8.00-£8.80 per hour dependant on experience 
with shift premiums for hours worked between 2200 and 0600 and bank holidays.

We are looking to appoint ambulance crew to join our ambulance operations function within the West Midlands. In partnership with NHS trusts and other high profile organisations, St John Ambulance transports patients in emergency and non-emergency situations whilst applying a high level of compassionate patient care.

 Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, as well as being able to work as part of a team. We are particularly looking for Patient Transport Attendants who are already trained or have experience in a similar role. If you do not have a recognised qualification of Ambulance Care Assistant and you are invited to interview we will discuss possible training with you. 
If you can offer flexibility, including the ability to work evenings and weekends, can keep calm under pressure and relish a challenge, we want to hear from you. You must have a full driving licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience with no more than 6 penalty points. These posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and therefore an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required for successful candidates.
