St John Ambulance is the nation’s leading first aid charity.
Every year, 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes, including hundreds of thousands of young people.
Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities, keeping people safe at events, and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls.
About the role
St John Ambulance Workplace Training and Supplies is a large part of our organisation whose purpose is to generate revenue for our charitable activities through commercial operations. Fundraising is another key source of income for our charity. A significant part of the support for these activities is through direct marketing campaigns.
As a Marketing Data Officer, reporting to Marketing Data Manager, you will be part of a small Marketing Data Team that helps make these campaigns happen. Ideally coming from a data processing background, you will have exceptional numerical and analytical skills, have had experience in working with Data systems. You will have experience in extracting/uploading data, running and creating reports, using data systems to provide campaign information, analysing data to predict trends and identify issues, and supporting your stakeholders from campaign planning through to post-analysis.
You will be used to creating or following data processes and working with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, working to tight deadlines, and have experience of working in an environment that supports remote and multiple stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who has high level of experience working with Apteco FastStats, Microsoft Excel and some exposure to Raisers Edge, although this is not vital. The ideal person will enjoy data manipulation, planning, analysis and is interested in helping us grow income through constantly improving our use of data.
