St John Ambulance is the nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes, including hundreds of thousands of young people. To achieve this, we provide a wide range of products and services to the community such as our workplace and community training, first aid support at events and our vital work with the emergency services with our ambulance operations. We generate around £100m per annum which we reinvest in delivering and campaigning for better access to first aid for everyone.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team working on promoting our range of workplace training courses. The role is based in London NHQ and will involve supporting the Marketing Manager with the implementation and execution of the SJA marketing strategy, with particular focus on Customer Development and Workplace Training, through campaign development from proposal through the creative development to delivery via multimedia channels. Responsible for briefing all customer facing sales channels to ensure optimum sales conversion and customer experience.

About you

With experience of working in a vibrant communications and/or marketing team, you’ll be brimming with ideas and ready to get stuck in. You’ll have been involved in executing multi-channel campaigns and your approach to working will be creative, collaborative and organised. You will be a strong team player and be confident working with teams across the organisation and familiar with marketing campaign, channel and content planning approaches. You’ll understand the importance of brand consistency, be confident in challenging ideas and ready to evaluate along the way.
