About the Role
St John Ambulance has a long and proud history of supporting the NHS Ambulance Trusts, as Paramedic Clinical Lead, you will help us continue to do this by providing clinical leadership to our Ambulance Crew within the sector.
As an experienced Paramedic, you will provide high-quality and effective care to our customers and patients, as well as, support our Ambulance Operations Sector Managers in the management and mentorship of our Ambulance Crews. You will also be responsible for completing clinical audits and working with the Clinical leads from other sectors to provide clinical support across the organisation.
We will support your continuous professional development and expect you to remain engaged with the Paramedic community to keep a personal development portfolio and HCPC registration.

We want to speak with HCPC registered paramedics with 2 years post registration experience who are passionate about providing clinical leadership to paramedics and less experienced crew members in joining a well-established organisation with high standards of care and evidenced by our excellent CQC reports and a history of providing quality customer service and patient care. You will be expected to maintain your HCPC registration through acting as a paramedic for us whilst supporting crew on the road.
St John Ambulance are the Nation’s leading First Aid Charity, our Ambulance Operations team treat, provide care for and transport 70,000 patients across the country per year. We are currently commissioned by a wide variety of NHS customers across England.
We provide a wide range of ambulance transport services from Patient Transport to fully integrated Intensive Care Transport. We provide core 999 support to a number of Ambulance Trusts along with specialist Bariatric services. SJA AO ambulance crews work in partnership with our customers to deliver high-quality patient care where needed when needed.
