About the Role
St John Ambulance provides First Aid and life-saving care at thousands of events every year, including concerts, football games and large-scale events such as the London Marathon.
As an Events Administrator, you will be involved in the whole Event process from handling customer enquiries about First Aid at Events and updating the customer, to updating the events management system and ensuring that we have the correct level of volunteer support at events to meet the needs of the customer.
You will provide a strong level of administrative support in the region covering London and parts of the South of England. You will also update trackers, monitor invoicing, produce management information and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure that the events team have the support they need.
As you will be the first point of contact and in regular contact with internal and external customers, you will be a strong communicator with a passion for great customer service.
You will also have worked in a busy and demanding office administration capacity previously and have the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
St John Ambulance will provide system training, however, you must have the ability to use Microsoft Office/Office 365 applications to an intermediate level.
St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, providing first aid, keeping people safe at events and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. Much of our front-line delivery is provided by our dedicated and highly-trained volunteers.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of people, many of them under 18, also learn how to save a life through our training, education and youth programmes.
