HR Advisor (Employees)
About the Role
As an HR Advisor, you will work closely with the Regional HR Manager in providing advice, guidance and support to employee managers in a wide range of important people processes such as recruitment, inductions, PDRs, disciplinaries and grievances. You will help our managers improve the employee experience, as well as helping them to better manage their people. You will also liaise with our new HR administration centre in West Bromwich to help implement important changes to process and support the HR Advisor for volunteering where needed.
This role can be based in London or Brighton.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to travel throughout the region and work with a wide variety of employee-related queries. To be successful, you will have experience in HR casework in a fast-paced HR environment and had experience with advising managers on best practice.
You must be able to travel, as frequent travel throughout the region will be needed.
St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, providing first aid, keeping people safe at events and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. Much of our front-line delivery is provided by our dedicated and highly-trained volunteers.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of people, many of them under 18, also learn how to save a life through our training, education and youth programmes.
