Senior Early Years Worker
About the Role
As a Senior Early Years Worker, you will be an important member of the Nursery team and will work closely with the Nursery Manager, Deputy Nursery Manager and other Senior Early Years Worker, to ensure that children can learn and develop to reach their full potential. To achieve this, you will provide a safe and secure environment where you will be able to plan, stimulating and meaningful play experiences for your key group, as well as other children within the nursery.
St John Ambulance takes safety seriously, so as well as ensuring the best care for the children under your care, you will be responsible for assisting with records and making sure logs are up to date.
Please note this role will be 3 Days per week between 21-30 hours, to be discused at interview.
You will be passionate about the learning and development of young children and will have experience in of planning learning for young children, as well as working in a nursery environment previously. Ideally, you will also have worked in a supervisory capacity.
You must have a level 3 childcare qualification and understand the importance of safeguarding and compliance with policies and procedures.
