Volunteer Training Development Officer
About the Role
As a Volunteer Training Development Officer for St John Ambulance, you will be responsible for small and large scale projects that will further develop volunteer training. You will take projects from concept through to completion. To do this your role will involve research and customer engagement, as well as, the development and design of training. You will be designing training that will be delivered through a range of platforms including classroom and digital courses.
Please note the role can be based at any St John Ambulance office in Poole, Bristol, Birmingham, Leicester or Chesterfield.
You will be passionate about the development of training and will have gained experience in identifying training needs and developing training based on these. Ideally, you will have a level 3 training qualification, but this isn't essential.
St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, providing first aid, keeping people safe at events and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. Much of our front-line delivery is provided by our dedicated and highly-trained volunteers.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of people, many of them under 18, also learn how to save a life through our training, education and youth programmes.
