Sun shines for beach event
Whilst the rest of the country copes with effects of devastating rainfall, music fans and St John Ambulance volunteers in Weston-super-mare enjoyed glorious sunshine at Sunday's T4 on the Beach event.
Flood update - 27 July
St John Ambulance volunteers continue to provide aid to those affected by the floods. As the floods subside St John Ambulance volunteers are now able to stand down in some areas.
Race fans raise funds
Racing pundit John McCririck and TV presenter Clare Balding were among the high profile guests invited to a Charity Race Evening which raised £260,000for St John Ambulance and Starlight Children's Foundation.
Volunteers care for 300 casualties at Tour de France
St John Ambulance first aiders treated 353 people – including one professional cyclist – over three days during the UK-leg of the Tour de France
National schools first aid finals
Teams of pupils from all over the country took part in the finals of the St John Ambulance National Schools First Aid Competition which took place at London Zoo recently.

St John Ambulance will be joining in with the cycling spirit during the UK leg of theTour de France by using their cycling first aiders in addition to their ambulance and first aid station volunteers.
