Race fans raise much-needed funds

Racing pundit John
McCririck and TV presenter Clare Balding
were among the high profile guests invited to a Charity Race
Evening which raised £260,000 for St John Ambulance and Starlight Children's
Foundation.
Clare Balding, who has appeared on 'Have I Got News for You',
'They Think It's All Over', 'Call My Bluff' and many other TV
favourites, auctioned off a car donated by Bridgestone, Capital Car
and Van Hire and Kwik-Fit Fleet.
Frankie Dettori who won the fourth race
cantered over and straddled himself across the Toyota AYGO for
photographs with the organisers.
We're delighted with the success of the event and we're very grateful to everyone who has helped raise funds for two such great causes.

dinner in the Riverside Marquee. After dinner, a
raffle and an auction of luxury items was held.
