Spooky Sleepover success
Brave volunteers survived a night in
ghostly surroundings at a Spooky Sleepover
recently, to fundraise for St John Ambulance.
Over £8,000 was raised by participants who were the first ever
group to sleep in one of London’s newest and scariest
attractions, The London Bridge Experience and the London
Tombs.
The entire night was spent deep within the vaults and
caverns of the famous bridge and included
terrifying tours of the attraction, chilling
explorations by the UK Society of Paranormal Investigation, and the
showing of scary movies in preparation for settling into a sleeping
bag and listening out for things that go bump in the night.
Rosie Myres, Special Events Fundraiser said: 'The event was a
huge success raising over £8,000 towards the life saving work of St
John Ambulance. The participants were great with all of them
managing to stay the whole night in the spooky surroundings.'
