Brave volunteers needed
Fearless participants are needed to
experience two unforgettable and unique nights to
raise money for St John Ambulance to help them continue their life
saving work.
This Halloween’s eve, St John Ambulance is calling on
adventurous souls dressed in their scariest costumes to
embark on a new 10k Creepy Crawl around
the sinister landmarks of London.
The first ever Creepy Crawl will take place at dusk on Friday 30
October, the eve of Halloween, starting at atmospheric London
Bridge and winding its way around the capital’s historical
sights, famed for their bloody past and ghostly
sightings.
These are opportunities not to be missed and are the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit while raising money to help St John Ambulance continue its work training, caring and saving lives.

This event will be followed by another scary event in November.
If you’re hungry for even more ghoulish
experiences the Spooky
Sleepover takes place on the night of Saturday 21 November
until Sunday morning at Eastbury Manor in Barking and is guaranteed
to be a hair-raising occasion.
Situated upon the former site of Barking Abbey, which was
founded in 666 AD, the Elizabethan manor was built in the 1570s and
is steeped in history. Falling into decay in 1918, the house was
restored by The National Trust.
Tara Sherjan, Head of Corporate Partnerships and Events at St
John Ambulance, says: ‘We’re calling on the curious and brave, who
love a good ghost story and want to learn more about the chilling
events in London’s history to sign up to the Creepy Crawl, and if
you’re strong enough to endure an entire night in a rumoured
haunted manor the Spooky Sleepover will definitely test your
nerves.
‘These are opportunities not to be missed and are the perfect
way to get into the Halloween spirit while raising money to help St
John Ambulance continue its work training, caring and saving
lives.’
