First Aid Awards deadline extended
The deadline for the St John Ambulance First Aid
Awards has been extended due to popular demand.
Entry has been extended to 5pm on Wednesday 7
September. A decision has been made to allow more
time for individuals, schools, restaurants, shops and other
businesses - who are leading the way in first aid - to enter, due
to the bank holiday and a high number of requests for an
extension.
In the Workplace
Awards, organisations from construction, energy, financial
services and many other sectors are encouraged to submit a
nomination to get the recognition they deserve for their high
standards.
In the Community
Awards, St John Ambulance is seeking entries from schools, high
street and retail businesses, or those in the leisure and tourism
industry.
'The difference' Awards allows recognition for individuals who
have used first aid in the workplace or community, or saved a life
in a particularly inspirational way.
Taking place in the deluxe Lancaster London hotel on the
evening of 30 November, the First Aid Awards ceremony will
celebrate the individuals, communities and businesses going the
extra mile. Entry is free and closes on 7 September 2011.
