Badgers

Anyone aged between five and 10 years old can join our Badger Sett. At Badgers it's all about fun and adventure!

To become a Badger just get your parent or guardian to email us and we will discuss current opportunities. Our Badger Sett is very popular, so there could be a small delay before you can join.

Our Badger leaders are appropriately trained and follow strict guidelines to ensure that our young members remain safe and get the most out of being a member of St John Ambulance.

Programme

Badgers take part in a lively programme, working towards their Super Badger Award. There are 15 award subjects to allow badgers to learn essential life skills in a fun and safe environment.

Badgers learn important first aid skills through their Super Badger Award and various first aid courses. They also get a uniform which they can wear in the Sett and at some public events.

Social

Bradley Stoke's yearly Badger Camp gives Badgers the chance to try activities such as adventurous assault courses, exploring and crafts. Other activities throughout the year include a first aid competition, sandcastle competition, teddy bear's picnic, sponsored fire-engine wash, visits to local places such as a zoo farm, parties and much more.
