Summer ball raises funds

Dancers and diners turned out for Trunkwell Mansion's Late Late
Summer Ball in November to raise funds for St John Ambulance in
Berkshire and The Beech Hill Village Hall Restoration fund.
Attendees were asked to part with their cash with a raffle,
reverse bingo and an auction of items including a signed and framed
Fernando Alonso photo and a case of vintage wine. Bids ranged from
£75 to £1000 all of which contributed to the final total of
£5124.
The money raised is being shared equally
between St John Ambulance and the restoration fund.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the evening and particularly the top bidders who went home with some amazing lots.

Kim Adrian, County Fundraiser for St John Berkshire said: 'At St
John we like to be known for building
relationships with the local community so it was a
pleasure to be involved with the restoration fund on this event. It
was a wonderful evening and we are very grateful
to Robert Walton of Trunkwell Mansion for organising the event. We
would like to thank everyone who took part in the evening and
particularly the top bidders who went home with some amazing
lots.'
St John Ambulance is currently raising funds for a new
mobile treatment unit which can be used at public
events throughout Berkshire.
