Young achiever visits Palace
Bracknell youngster Eloise
Bouron was amongst a handful of St John Ambulance young
achievers who met with HRH The Princess Royal at Buckingham
Palace.
Annual event
The event celebrates the achievements of of St
John Ambulance Badgers, Cadets and Young Carers (aged five to
25) who have achieved something exceptional, and
recognises the commitment they have made
throughout the year.
Eloise does an amazing job all year round and she really deserved to be included in such a special day.

Commissioner Youth, St John Ambulance Berkshire
Eloise, 15, attends Ranelagh School, and cares for her younger
sister Lucie who is disabled, whilst at the same time dealing with
her own ME. Lucie requires surgery on a regular basis and also has
epilepsy so needs round the clock care. Eloise
helps with Lucie's daily routines including changing her sister's
dressings each day, so her first aid skills learnt through St John
come in very handy.
Away from St John, Eloise is involved in Girl Guiding,
volunteering at both weekly sporting events and the annual WAMDSAD
games and demonstrating first aid to her fellow
pupils at school.
Her work in the community has led to her being invited onto the
set of the BBC's Holby City, and gave her the
opportunity to meet Lord Sebastian Coe and TV
sports presenter Steve Ryder.
Commissioner Youth for St John Berkshire, Sharon Johnson said:
'It is testament to the hard work and skill of these young people
that the Her Royal Highness welcomed them to Buckingham Palace to
recognise their outstanding work.
'Eloise does an amazing job all year round and she really
deserved to be included in such a special day.'
