In this day and age we hear so many negative stories about young people smoking, drinking, and causing trouble, but our Cadets are an example of the good youngsters in society.

Daniel Williams, one of the adult Cadet leaders spoke at the service and said: 'In this day and age we hear so many negative stories about young people smoking, drinking, and causing trouble, but our cadets are an example of the good youngsters in society. We are very proud of their achievements over the last year.'

The division were also presented with an AED machine, the money for which was donated by Waitrose in Woodley. An automated external defibrillator can be used when someone has a heart attack to shock their heart back into a normal rhythm and potentially save their life. The machine will be taken out to events covered by members of the division who have been professionally trained in how to use it.
