Event Cover In Cumbria
St John Ambulance volunteers are a familiar sight at
events taking place in Cumbria. We can provide a
full range of services throughout Cumbria, which
include:
- First Aiders / Advanced First Aiders
- Emergency Transport Attendants
- Patient Transport Attendants
- Nurses
- Paramedics
- Doctors
- Ambulances
- Support Vehicles
- Mobile First Aid Units.
In addition to this we also have specialist
equipment, ideally suited to the challenging terrain
offered in the more remote parts of Cumbria. As well as
our fleet of road Ambulances we have Land
Rover Ambulances and Support vehicles based in the county
should your event require them.
The latest addition to our fleet is a 2011 John
Deere Gator which has been specially adapted to our
requirements, and has proven extremely successful at recent events
such as Kendal Calling and Radio 1's Big Weekend.

In Cumbria our list of customers is large and
ranges from national organisations such as the BBC, all the
way through to small local organisations. The
nature of events covered is extensive, however you will
see our volunteers regularly attending the following types
