We believe that no one should suffer from a lack of trained first aiders, and that everyone should have the opportunity to learn first aid. This includes schoolchildren.

The Derbyshire Schools Team is here to teach children the basics of first aid and how to save a life. The course can be delivered as part of:

• Citizenship
• PSHE
• ASDAN modules
• Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme.

Our courses are tailored to the specific age group, which means we can teach vital first aid skills to children as young as five.

We also offer a special Schools Mark award to schools that teach first aid to their pupils - and a Teach the difference award which recognises the contribution of their teachers.
