Carers Support Programme
St John Ambulance Dorset provides a
Carers Support Programme to help people in a caring
role.
The programme is led, developed and delivered by a dedicated
team of experienced registered
nurses. It is accredited by The Royal College of
Nursing and supported by Dorset County Council.
Is this for you?
- Would you like the opportunity to gain more skills and
knowledge to help you in your caring role?
- Would you like training in basic first aid, safer moving
and handling, falls prevention, managing continence and stress
management?
- Would you like to meet other carers to share experiences,
advice and ideas?
- Are you over the age of 18 and provide care for a member
of your family, a friend or a neighbour?
If you have answered yes to any of these questions then St John
Ambulance Dorset can help!
When and where?
The programme is delivered at various locations
throughout Dorset during four morning sessions over four
consecutive weeks followed by a buffet lunch.
Cost?
The programme and buffet lunch
are provided totally free of charge
