Patient transport services in Chelmsford
Most patient transport
services are carried out on behalf of the NHS but
the service can be made available to individuals or organisations
depending upon the availability of the
trained ambulance crews.
We transport patients in our Crusader ambulances or our
Companion people carrier car. Most patient transport services
involve conveying people in ambulances to hospital for admission or
assessment on behalf of the NHS. On some contracts
we also repond to 999 calls at the request of the NHS ambulance
service.
The Companion people carrier car usually
transports walking patients to outpatient
appointments. The ambulance and car transport services can be made
available to individuals or organisations to meet their needs, but
availability depends upon the trained crews.
We can provide a flexible service to suit the needs of the patient
