Volunteer with us
Last year, our volunteers gave over 5,700
hours of their time in a variety of different roles, to help in the
local communities of Harlow and the surrounding area. We treated in
excess of 130 casualties whilst on duty.
First aider
Everyone knows St John Ambulance and first aid go hand in hand.
As a St John Ambulance volunteer we'll train you
in the latest techniques and keep you up to date
with new developments. One day, you might be
thankful you joined St John Ambulance. We certainly will be!
Healthcare professionals
Our volunteers are supported by a network of healthcare
professionals who give their expertise. We welcome
you to join our diverse unit here in Harlow. We already have a
great skill mix and are waiting to hear from
you!
Support member
As well as first aid and other care roles, we have
opportunities for a wealth of volunteers who help
us in so many other ways. From fundraisers to
recruitment people and those who
can help with anything from DIY to vehicle
mechanics - you're sure to fit in just nicely! There's
even room for you if you just simply want to make the tea!

The opportunities are endless! Here at St
John Ambulance we all have one thing in common - working
for the good of the community. We
