Fleet
We currently have two front line accident
and emergency (A&E) ambulances.
One of these has been adapted to carry bariatric patients, a
multi-patient transport ambulance (PTS), a 4x4 ambulance response
car, a mobile first aid treatment centre, and a response car.
Our latest additions to the fleet are two purpose built cycle
response bicycles (CRU) fully kitted for immediate first aid care
including medical gases and an Automated External Defibrillator
(AED).
The fleet is constantly maintained to very high standards and is
always in a state of readiness for any eventuality including a
major incident being declared.
Throughout the year the fleet is well utilised
and covers a variety of local duties.
