Fundraising
As with all St John Ambulance divisions we do not receive money
directly from the government or from the NHS. All supplies,
equipment and training are paid for with money raised from fund
raising events, donations or payment for supplying first aid and
ambulance cover at events.
Some of the fundraising events we have used to raise money
include:
- car wash
- pub crawl
- swimathon
- race nights
- 70's disco
- 1940's
- quiz nights
- casualty makeup at school fetes and open days
We are always planning other fundraising events.

All our members give their time voluntarily with several
members, during 2009, providing over 1,000 hours of service
each.
