First aid volunteers at Manchester Pride

We cover a broad variety of events, from local carnivals and fundraising events to Premiership Football matches. We provide effective first aid treatment at public and private events to save lives and reduce the effects of injury and trauma.

Why do you need us?

The provision of our professional first aid cover will help ensure the safety of those attending your event. We carry out a risk assessment which local authorities require before granting licences. We advise and supply provision of ambulances and specialist resources.

Whilst we hope accidents don't occur, it instills a sense of security in the public to know we are there.

What can we supply?

  • 500+ first aiders

  • four first aid units – static
  • three first aid units – mobile
  • four air shelters
  • three towing units
  • one 4x4 support vehicle
  • one communications unit

All supported by employed staff located at our county HQ.

Do we charge for cover?

Yes, in order to recover our costs. For small and charitable events we are able to accept donations for cover. For other events we will provide a quote before you commit to our services.

How do I arrange cover?

You can book online or email us the date, venue and a brief outline of your event. We will then send you a questionnaire to complete and upon its return we will carry out a risk assessment and provide a quote for the level of cover we recommend.
