Comments & complaints
We receive hundreds of compliment
messages for the work our volunteers and staff do which are always
logged and passed on to those involved. From time to time, we
also receive complaints which help us to develop the way we
work.
Compliments and thanks
Our volunteers and staff work tirelessly to ensure that
nobody suffers for the lack of trained first
aiders and we receive regular compliments and letters of
thanks from a wide range of people. These compliments and
letters of thanks are all logged centrally and then passed to the
volunteer or staff member directly as well as to their line
managers for them to comment too.
If you'd like to send us a letter of thanks, compliments or
praise, please feel free to do so. So that we can ensure it's
passed on correctly, please send these via our Chief
Executive Officer who logs all such correspondence so that
it can be shared with the Charity's Senior Volunteers on a regular
basis.

Complaints
St John Ambulance takes complaints about any aspect of our
service extremely seriously. We aim to satisfy our
supporters, volunteers, clients and contacts and to respond to any
problems as quickly as possible.
The general public and organisers have the right to expect the
very highest standards from St John Ambulance. You should
complain if you do not consider we are meeting these standards or
if you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service.
If you've been unable to resolve your concern locally at the
time, please send your complaint, in writing, to our Chief
Executive Officer who will log it and confirm to you that it's
been received. Once received, they will pass the complaint to
a Senior Volunteer or Manager to investigate fully. This
stage may involve making contact with you for more information.
