Fundraising
St John Ambulance is an essential public
service but receives no formal funding. Fundraisers work hard
to pay for the lifesaving equipment from plasters to
ambulances.
There are more than 40 divisions of St John Ambulance in
Hampshire and the members get involved in many events to boost
their own funds and buy equipment for first aid duties.
This local fundraising effort is supported by the county's
Fundraising Committee under the chairmanship of Mr Tim
Weale.
