Bishop's Waltham garden fair
Following the massive
success of the 2011 garden fair, which raised over
£10,000 for the lifesaving work of St John Ambulance
across Hampshire, 2012 is set to be even bigger and better than
ever before.
Moving to a new venue at Wintershill
Hall, Durley, the 2012 garden fair is set to take place on
Sunday 6 May 2012 from 10am to 4pm.
The popular family event, which has been
running since 1992, has attractions for people of all
ages - gardeners and non-gardeners alike. The fair
hosts over 60 specialist stalls, and attracts well
over 2,000 visitors annually.
Local gardening expert Andy
McIndoe, Garden Centre Director at Hillier
Garden Centres, garden designer, international lecturer and
broadcaster, will be on hand to solve horticultural problems
in a question and answer session. Homemade refreshments and a
Children's corner top the day off, alongside free local parking
too.
The melodies of Cuff Billet's roving jazz
band will create a special 'garden party'
atmosphere.
