The Brain Game 2011

Held on Wednesday 12 October
at The Rose Bowl, the Brain Game will be a glittering affair with
comedienne and Celebrity Mastermind Champion, Lucy
Porter taking part as quiz master for the
evening. Prestigious firms in
teams of ten will be competing to become champions of The Brain
Game.
The Brain Game presents local
businesses with an excellent way of supporting a local charity
whilst entertaining their clients or colleagues or rewarding
their staff. Why not use it as an alternative to the traditional
Christmas outing this year to add a little sparkle with something
different?
Money raised from the event will support the
vital work of St John Ambulance volunteers across Hampshire
who strive to be the difference; the difference
between a life lost and a life saved. Up to 150,000 people die each
year in a situation where first aid could have helped them.

The timings for this black tie event are:
- 7.00pm - Drinks reception, sponsored by The
Countess of Portsmouth
- 7.30pm - Quiz
- 8.15pm - Dinner
- 9.00pm - Quiz continues
- 9.45pm - Dessert and coffee
- 10.30pm - Presentation of trophy
Dinner is a sumptuous three course meal served
part way through the evening's entertainment.
‘We are asking businesses if their companies
have the biggest brains in Hampshire,’ said Michelle
Dobson, County Fundraiser for St John Ambulance Hampshire,
‘and if they are up to the challenge of ‘The Brain Game’, they
could walk away with a trophy to prove that they are.’
‘There are many ways that businesses can take
part in the event,’ said Michelle, ‘they can book a table of ten
for the quiz and maybe challenge other businesses to do the same!’
She added that businesses could also support the event by
sponsoring a round of questions, advertising in the programme or
providing a prize for the raffle. ‘We can even tailor a sponsorship
package for ‘The Brain Game’ to suit each company’s individual
requirements,’ she said.
‘Corporate hospitality events like ‘The Brain
Game’ are an ideal way for businesses to gain direct access to a
dynamic corporate audience,’ said Professor Gioia
Pescetto, Dean of the Portsmouth University Business
School, the main sponsors of the event. ‘We are challenging
companies across the south to take part in ‘The Brain Game’ and
show us what they are made of!’
A table at The Brain Game costs just £950 for a
team of ten. To book your place please download the booking form
and return to the County Fundraiser at the email or postal address
provided. If you would like further information please call
