Bishop's Stortford is holding another recruitment night where those
who are interested in what the organisation does with a possible

Celebrations are underway
for St John Ambulance in Bishop's Stortford this week
after it smashed its initial £20,000 fundraising target towards
buying a vehicles to serve the community. Find out how your

St John Ambulance in
Bishop's Stortford continues to go from strength to strength and
the introduction of Badgers, our five to 10 year old group, in
September is seen as our next major milestone. Badgers have
fun whilst learning a vast range of subjects.
Volunteers and
members of the public from across Hertfordshire gathered to watch
18 volunteers walk over fire to raise money for the Bishop's
Stortford ambulance appeal. The temperatures rose as did the
total amount raised.
St John Ambulance in
Bishop's Stortford is hosting a recruitment evening to showcase
just how embedded the organisation has become within the town. Why

First aiders,
nurses and ambulance crews from St John Ambulance in Bishop's
Stortford supported the 27th Flora London Marathon in sweltering
conditions and treated many patients in the blistering heat.
Volunteers from St
John Ambulance in Bishop's Stortford took part in the
bi-annual Tesco challenge on Friday 30 March and Saturday 31 March
raising funds towards the £20,000 ambulance appeal fund.
St John
Ambulance volunteers from Bishop's Stortford entered into the
annual first aid competitions for the first time since the unit
began in 1933. Two teams took part in the competitions in
Cheshunt on Sunday 11 March.
Our ambulance appeal is set
to soar with our forthcoming Firewalk event. 12 May 2007 will
see a spectacular fundraising event take place in aid of our

Our volunteers
have been out in force over recent months to collect money from the
public to help our ambulance appeal. From town centres to the
football club, you name it, they've been there - and with some
astonishing results too!
