Support Member

A support member is just as valuable to St John Ambulance as a first aider

Not everyone likes the sight of blood or wants to wear a uniform, yet many people still want to help in their community.

Support members in St John Ambulance are just as important to us as our first aiders and ambulance crews so why not find out more about being a Support Member.

Varied

Being a part of St John Ambulance doesn't just mean sticking a plaster on here and there. For every person you see in our uniform, there will be another behind the scenes helping keep us going.

Whether your forte is fundraising, talking to people, using a radio or simply making the tea, there's definitely room for you at St John Ambulance.

It doesn't stop there!  If you have a little spare time and want to get involved in a local community organisation, then St John Ambulance wants to hear from you!

Commitment

St John Ambulance appreciates that our volunteers have families, work commitments, social lives and other activities that they are involved in.  All we ask is that volunteers can offer at least a few hours each month to help St John Ambulance in some small way.

Finding out more

We welcome new volunteers to attend our weekly meetings to find out more about what St John Ambulance has to offer.

To find out more, email us, call us on 07890 726299 or complete the online volunteering form and one of our recruitment co-ordinators will make contact with you.

I joined St John Ambulance to meet new people and support something worthwhile. There's no limit to my involvement with St John Ambulance - I do as much or as little as I like.
