Lenham Cadets Triumph at Regional Competitions

The Lenham Cadet team are jubilant having seen off rival teams to win the competition's Cadet Quiz at the regional competitions, hosted at Maidstone in early May.

The Cadet team comprising 15-year-old triplets Emma, Megan and Lauren Carter and 16-year-old Lauren Wickison, all students at Invicta Grammar School, triumphed over competing teams from Surrey, Sussex and the Channel Islands and on their first attempt.

Doreen Bond, officer in charge at St John Ambulance Lenham says, 'We are so proud of our girls, especially as it's the first time the division has ever put a team into the quiz.  Winning the county round felt good, but winning at the regional finals has been fantastic and the girls are already looking forward to competing in next year's first aid competitions.'
