Lord Lieutenant with new Kent Chairman

Monday 24th May saw The Lord Lieutenant of Kent, Allan Willett CMG, meet Members of Council of St John and welcome the chairman designate of the Council for St John Ambulance Kent, Guy Innes, to his new role.

The Lord Lieutenant also thanked outgoing chairman, Lord Abergavenny for his commitment to the charity and leadership during the six years he has held the position.
 
John Hougham, Commander of St John Ambulance Kent, says, ‘Events such as this really highlight the incredible work our Council Members undertake and I would like to add my personal thanks to those who are retiring.
 
‘I would like to say a huge thank you to Lord Abergavenny, who officially retires on 23rd June, for his commitment to St John Ambulance, especially at a time when there has been much change within the organisation.  I also warmly welcome his successor, Guy Innes, and very much look forward to working with him.’
