Generous Tesco shoppers from across Kent raised nearly £5,000
for St John Ambulance
Tesco kindly allowed St John Ambulance
volunteers to fundraise at stores across the county during
August and September and the combined total of funds
raised was a fantastic £4,777.
John Hougham, Commander of
St John Ambulance, said: ‘We are extremely
grateful to Tesco customers and staff at the nine stores
involved for donating when there are currently
such demands on everybody’s household budgets.
‘We are always astounded by the
generosity of the people of Kent and
their donations will help us to carry on our life saving
work across the county and be the difference between lives
lost and lives saved.’
