Sevenoaks Relationship with Tesco Riverhead Flourishes

St John Ambulance Sevenoaks is starting the New Year excited about taking forward its new relationship with the local Tesco Riverhead superstore.

'We first got involved with Tesco when they kindly donated £500 last November to commemorate the launch of the Order & Collect Service at the store. Since then we've also been presented with a further cheque for £250, to be used for much needed repairs and redecorating of our Chatham Hill premises,' said Danny Miller, acting member in charge of the division.

Miller said the relationship between the two organisations doesn't stop with the donation.

'Tesco Riverhead manager, Joe Ralph, has very generously offered us the opportunity to host 12 in-store collection days during 2011 to raise further funds for our division.'

The intention is to launch a collection day campaign shortly.

'We would like to say a huge thank you to Joe and his Riverhead team for their commitment to supporting St John Ambulance at a local level,' said Miller.
