St John Ambulance Transport Services has a long tradition in transporting patients over long distances.

St John Ambulance can provide:

  • pressure mattresses for long journeys
  • care plans
  • food for patients on longer journeys
  • correct male/female ratio
  • staff experienced in patient care, stoma care and catheter care.
  • a dedicated nursing team who will oversee the care of patients and a wealth of health care professionals whose knowledge can be called upon for transfers.

St John Ambulance will also impose an overnight stay policy for its crews to ensure compliance with the working time directives. This is supported by a national contract with a major hotel chain.
