Volunteering in Lancashire

First at cheese rolling event
No matter how old you are, or what level of experience you have, Lancashire is always looking for new volunteers.

In Lancashire we currently have:

  • 512 adult volunteers.
  • 591 volunteers under the age of 18.

In 2009, our volunteers gave over 51,595 voluntary hours.

As the leading first aid charity, first aid volunteers are always needed, however there are several other roles within the organisation which we need help with. Whether you can give just a few hours or more, we would love to hear from you.

First Aiders

Our first aiders go out into the community and provide life saving treatment at events across the county. Recent events in Lancashire have included:

  • Jane Tomlinson Events
  • Lytham Proms

St John Ambulance provides all the training you need to effectively help people in need while offering a socialable and friendly way to spend some of your free time.
