Family fun in the sun
Coalville members of St John Ambulance
hosted a family fun day on a glorious
sunny Saturday to promote the organisation in their local
community.
Swapping their sun caps for uniform the volunteers had a
fantastic day raising money for St John Ambulance
with fun and games for all including tin can
alley, a raffle and the chance to pick up a bargain on a
bric-a-brac stall.
Younger visitors had the chance to look round an ambulance and test
out their driving skills in the cab (ignition off of course!),
whilst the older ones were given a demonstration on
resuscitation and how to
save a
life.
It was a great day for all my family to enjoy, and it was great to see local young people doing such good in the community.
