Highest Honour

In an exciting awards ceremony, held at the London Transport Museum on Thursday 24 June, the team took the highest honour in recognition of their outstanding work providing first aid at a wide range of high profile and community events across the Capital.

Absolutely delighted

Ashley Sweetland, who leads operational cycling for St John Ambulance, said: 'We are absolutely delighted to have scooped the winning prize in this category. It is hugely satisfying to see our members recognised in this way.'

Ann Cable, commissioner for St John Ambulance London (Prince of Wales's) District, added: 'I am tremendously proud of the team and all their achievements. They are highly deserving of this accolade as the CRU is a key element of the excellent service St John Ambulance provides to the capital city and all its communities.'
