Awards ceremony for dedicated volunteers from Highgate
Division
Volunteers from the Highgate area of
London are preparing for a formal ceremony to commend their work in
the capital.
Honouring our members.

Among the prestigious guests to be attending the event will be
the Mayor of Islington, Colonel Brian Kay (Representative Deputy
Lieutenant for the Borough of Islington), and a number of senior
representatives from St John Ambulance.
Known in full as the Highgate Quadrilateral
Division, the organisation caters for both youth and
adults and regularly provides first aid cover at events
such as football at the Emirates Stadium. Together, the membership
actively makes the difference to countless lives
ever year.
Thomas Webster, Divisional Superintendent, said:
'We are very much looking forward to
honouring our members through this event and are delighted that we
will have the attendance of the Mayor and of Colonel Brian Kay.
'Our youth and adult members really do make
the difference to the lives of so many Londoners. They provide
hundreds of hours of first aid cover during the year within the
capital, so it is fitting that we should have the opportunity to
acknowledge this with a special awards event.'
