Badgers are the youngest members in London and are between 5 and 10 years in age.

Badgers enjoy a broad range of activities and learn a range of subjects including:

  • badger

    first aid
  • caring for themselves and others
  • understanding nature
  • wild animals and the woodlands
  • art and creative activities
  • camping and the great outdoors.  

The St John Ambulance Badgers mascot is Bertie Badger, all activities are carefully supervised and there is a big emphasis on learning through fun and team activities.

There are 26 St John Ambulance Badger groups in London – known as ‘Sett’s.
