St John Ambulance in Northumbria operates three specially
designed community care centres in Berwick, Ashington and
Shiremoor.
Our centres offer a friendly,
secure and stimulating
environment for our clients, catering for their individual
needs.
Our centre at Ashington specialises in day care
to people over the age of 65 who have some degree of
physical disability or who experience
mental health problems leading to social
isolation.
The day centre is a lifeline! I have so many friends here and we are always trying something new!

Our centre at
Berwick caters for adults under the age of 65 with
physical disabilities and our
Shiremoor centre accommodates service users with a
varying range of needs. Some are
elderly, have some degree of physical disability or experience
mental health problems leading to social isolation.
