Safeguarding

St John Ambulance takes the safety of young children and vulnerable adults very seriously.  All members are CRB checked on joining, and trained in recognising signs of child abuse and how to act on them.

Our Safeguarding Officer is a central contact for all our members if they have any concerns or queries.

The County Safeguarding Officer is:

• Freely available to all members wishing to raise concerns or seek help and guidance on any question(s) connected with keeping children safe
• Available to provide practical support and assistance in managing any issues you may have around keeping children safe
• Available to offer training
• Available 24 hours per day 365 days per year.
