Teresa Surman and Louise Hutchinson, Cadets from Oxfordshire, received high praise from HRH the Princess Royal at a Buckingham Palace reception.
Oxfordshire New Year’s Eve revellers were treated by a team of volunteers from St John Ambulance as celebrations reached their peak. Overall St John Ambulance responded to 22 ambulance calls and treated 26 patients.
Oxfordshire Cadets attended an open day at the county headquarters and training centre.
Eleven-year old Cadet Connor Greer has won the Thames Valley section of the ITV Carer of the Year Award. Connor was nominated for the award after an incident in which he saved his mother's life.
