First Aid Friends

St John Ambulance in Oxfordshire is delighted to announce the launch of a free children's comic, promoting first aid awareness.

The comic, First Aid Friends, features a St John Ambulance Cadet called Tom, and a St John Ambulance Badger called Ella.  They use first aid to help their friend Clifton.

Recruitment Coordinator, Joanna Cope, says: 'The comic provides a fun learning experience.  It's proving popular and we're enjoying the chance to get people of all ages thinking about first aid.'

The 16-page comic is packed with games, puzzles and first aid advice.

First Aid Friends is being offered free of charge to primary schools in Oxfordshire.  If you work for a local school and have not yet received copies, please contact us by email.
