Cadet of the year competition
Nathan writes, 'I was
lucky enough to represent my county at the National Cadet of the
year competition, which allowed me to develop my personal skills –
and have lots of fun in the meantime!'
A life-changing experience
'I was nervous before attending the Cadet of
the year competition, because I wouldn’t know anyone there!
However, this soon changed: by the time the first evening was over,
everybody was talking to each other as if we had been friends for
ages!
'The weekend included icebreakers, interviews,
games, a disco and presentation skills.
'I think it was a life changing experience to
go and I would love to do it again if I could.'
