At university? LINKS is for you
If you are a student in Further or Higher
Education, LINKS is for you.
What can I do?
LINKS aims to make sure you get the most out of your involvement
in St John Ambulance, particularly if you live and study in
different parts of the country.
Many universities and colleges have a student first aid society
affiliated to the student union. Students who join this can become
members of St John Ambulance and have access to the same training
and roles as other volunteers.
Joining LINKS is a great way to see the surrounding area and make lots of new friends locally. Being a member of LINKS is not about blue flashing lights and lots of drama. LINKS is about developing your ability to deal with situations that you may come across in everyday life.

Even if your university
or college does not have a first aid society, you can still be a
part of LINKS by joining your nearest adult unit; we’d love to hear
from you.
Whether you have come to Oxfordshire to study,
or are leaving Oxfordshire to study in another part of the country,
LINKS can help you get settled in.
